Let's heal Your Relationship With Money

Financial Therapy

We all have a relationship with money. Like any relationship, this relationship might involve confusion, shame, overwhelm, guilt, or any other variety of intense feelings. But unlike relationships with people and work, our relationship with money isn't often talked about, or brings about such uncomfortable feelings that we don't even know where to start.
Financial Therapist in California
Imagine being able to sit down with your finances and feel a sense of agency, understanding, abundance, and peace. Imagine having compassion for yourself and knowledge about what's happening as you navigate difficult financial choices, or deal with big changes in your financial life.

Money also affects our relationships. It can create strain between friends and family, and be the subject of the most intense fights with our partners. When we don't have a good relationship with money, it starts to spill over into other parts of our lives.

Though it may feel a long ways off, peace with money is possible.
As a therapist, I'm not here to give advice or tell you how to spend, invest, or save your money. I'll leave that to the technical experts. But many people avoid seeing a technical expert, such as a CPA or financial advisor, because they feel overwhelmed, ashamed, or confused. Sometimes you need to sort through the emotional piece before you can look at the nuts and bolts. And that's okay!

Together we'll work to understand your relationship with money and empowering you with it. We'll look at the messages and education you got around money and make changes and fill in gaps. Instead of letting fear, guilt, and overwhelm take over, we'll let your values, hopes, and dreams steer you towards greater awareness, understanding, and
empowerment.

Peace with money is possible, and we want to help you get there.
What is financial therapy?
  • A deep look at your ideas, attitudes, and emotions around money
  • A gentle, compassionate approach toward empowering you to make confident financial choices
  • An examination and solidification of your values and dreams and how your money behaviors align with them
  • Movement toward healing the ideas and feelings that are keeping you stuck in old patterns
Financial therapy is NOT:
  • Full of financial mumbo-jumbo
  • Telling you how to spend your money
  • Advice on how to save, invest, or spend
